ImgColorPickerImgColorPicker app for iPhone, iPad and Android · Last updated: 21 September 2026
The short version: your photos never leave your device. The app has no account, no sign-in and no advertising. Colours, palettes and settings are stored on your device only.
The ImgColorPicker app (“Image Color Picker”) is made by Tech Interval LLC, 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE, Ste R, Albuquerque, NM 87110, United States. Questions about this policy can go to contact@imgcolorpicker.org.
This page covers the mobile app. The website imgcolorpicker.org has its own privacy policy.
When you open a photo, take one, or share an image into the app, it is decoded and read on your device. Every colour reading, palette and contrast score is worked out there. Images are never uploaded, and the app keeps no copy after you close them.
The live camera view is read frame by frame on the device to show the colour under the crosshair. Nothing is recorded or sent.
The app asks for camera and photo access only when you use those features, and only to do what you asked.
Deleting the app removes all of it. We cannot see or recover any of it.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts or photos. There is no account. The app contains no analytics and shows no advertising, and nothing is used to track you across other apps or websites.
The Android version uses three small services to keep the app working. The iPhone and iPad version does not currently use any of them.
Google’s handling of this data is described in the Firebase privacy information.
We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you the right to access, correct or delete personal data a company holds about you. Because the app has no accounts and keeps your content on your device, we hold nothing that identifies you. Write to contact@imgcolorpicker.org with any request and we will answer it.
If the app starts handling information differently, this page is updated before that version is released, and the date at the top changes.
